Every weekend, nearly 500 students in the Kent School District receive carefully packed bags filled with easy-to-open, ready-to-eat, nutritious items. These food bags ensure youth facing food insecurity don't go hungry when school meals aren't available

The Storehouse Food Bank serves ~2,000 individuals each month from a modest 1,400 sq ft space. As demand grows, we’re outgrowing our current home.
- Enhance food distribution with more space and better logistics

Volunteer

The Storehouse is a non-profit, food distribution program for families in the 98042 area. We partner with local businesses, churches, civic groups, and schools to ease the burden of those we serve. 

We serve hundreds of families a week and we partner with local organizations including drug/rehabilitation programs and community meals. We are committed to improving the quality of life for our neighbors beyond food security.

Natalie is one of our valued volunteers that serves by providing interpretation services for our Ukrainian clients. Her family imigrated to the United States from the Ukraine 30 years ago and recieved support from food pantries like The Storehouse.
